This 24-hour block of instruction provides general knowledge of medical gas and vacuum systems for the purpose of continuing education. This course is open to anyone with an interest in medical gas and vacuum systems and equipment. All candidates must pass a final written exam administered by Medical Gas Testing & Certification, LLC to qualify as an ASSE 6005 Medical Gas Systems Generalist.

This credential requires a renewal course every 3 years. The course includes 4 hours of review of code, followed by a written exam.
